Pedestrian underpass development, Unterschleißheim

At the Unterschleißheim stop (rail km 21.696, route 5500 Munich - Regensburg) the barrier-free development of the existing pedestrian underpass North has been realised in order to provide unrestricted access to the platforms from St.-Benedikt-Straße and Berglstraße. The project essentially consists of building new ramps, stairs and lifts on both sides of the pedestrian underpass, foundation work and drainage, design of access routes, set-up of Bike + Ride systems and parking places Laying of a medium voltage line and planning of a flush bore for passing beneath the railway line to accommodate a data cable. The goal is to provide barrier-free accessibility and improving the accessibility for all passengers.
