The construction of a new court building, which seamlessly connects to the existing district court, has a modern architecture with two basement levels and two upper storeys. It accommodates meeting rooms and offices. The ceiling structure consists of flat ceilings with lintel beams and parapet beams supported on reinforced concrete walls and columns, whereby unsupported areas have been created using wall-like beams. A barrier-free lift is integrated into the reinforced concrete walls. The excavation pit for the basement levels was successfully constructed in an inner-city location thanks to the use of rear-anchored sheet pile walls.
