Groundwater tank and railway crossing, Minderbetzigau (structures 2+3 of the Betzigau bypass)

The Minderbetzigau railway crossing consists of a frame structure beneath 2 provisional bridges. The associated groundwater tank connected to the Minderbetzigau railway crossing is subdivided into 2 implementation variants. Area 1 is designed to be resistant to buoyant force as a trough structure with a floor slab and outer walls that taper upwards. The hoisting system that is required to drain the structure is monolithically attached to block 2. Area 2 is designed as a membrane tank.
