District Court, Kaufbeuren

The district court was constructed as a new building consisting of solid reinforced concrete with exposed concrete walls, and includes a basement and an upper storey. The listed existing buildings were extensively renovated to ensure stability and durability, whereby the wooden structures were repaired in a substance-preserving manner. A holistic approach ensured that the historical building structure was preserved, while fulfilling modern requirements at the same time.
