A7 Viaduct , Enzenstetten near Füssen

New construction of the Enzenstetten viaduct. The dimensions of the bridge take the protection of ecologically sensitive areas into consideration, with a span width of 120 m above the core area of the Brunnenmoos. The structure consists of a longitudinally prestressed reinforced concrete box girder cross-section on V-shaped steel supports in both directions of travel. Because of the geological conditions with up to 40 m thick layers of peat, lake clay and gravel, the bridge was supported on 40 m deep piles with a diameter of 1.20 m.
